We welcome all those who are visiting with us this morning. If you are searching for a new church home, we would be pleased to have you as part of this church family. We draw your attention to the envelopes in the pews for your convenience.
 
As we prepare for worship, we encourage everyone to be as quiet as they can in the Sanctuary that we may begin to focus on the presence, inspiration, and encouragement of God in our midst.
 
This morningyour greeters are Dianna & David Kerk, the announcements will be reviewed by Nancy Howlett, andthe Scripture Lessons will be read by Peter Law.
 
To help you :
·        Large Print editions of the Bulletin, the Book of Praise, Living  Faith and the Bible are available in the Vestibule. 
·        Our Sanctuary has a Hearing Loop, use the T switch on your hearing aid;
·        Our facility is a Fragrance Free building as strong scents can affect others;
·        For those with mobility issues we have an automatic door opener on the front door of the building.
·        Tapes of today's service will be available in the Library each Tuesday morning. For regular requests see Bob Luffman after Worship or call him at 250-248-6582.
 
Following worship, everyone is invited into the Mahood Hall for coffee, tea and fellowship. Please stay and share this time together. Volunteers are always needed to host this event, please sign up on the sheet in the Mahood Hall. Hosts of today's Coffee Hour are Elizabeth Hewitt and Betty & Len DeBruin.

For the month of July our Secretary Carol Van Ek will be in the Church Office on Thursday and Friday mornings. The office will still be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 
 
Everyone is invited to join us every Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Lounge for Coffee Hour.   It is great fellowship and lots of fun. If you are able to host a "coffee hour" in July or August please sign up in the Mahood Hall.
 
 
Taxi Service The Outreach Committee is pleased to offer this service for people who need a means of transportation and wish to attend regular Sunday worship and other church events e.g. special services or Memorial Services.   Information Sheets and Request forms are now available at the Message Centre in the Vestibule. 
At present, this program is being sponsored from our Planned Giving Funds and therefore there is no charge.
 
Jim Crawford and Don Howlett are both riding in the Island Trail Ride Against Cancer on August 21st. If you would like to sponsor these boys there will be a sign up sheet in the Mahood Hall.

PASTORAL CARE  If you are ill, bereaved, or troubled in any way and require care, please contact your minister, your elder or the church office at 248-2348. With your permission we can include your name on the Prayer List in the bulletin.
 
PRESBYTERIAN PRAYER PARTNERSHIP leaflets are produced by our NationalChurch, to strengthen our spiritual concern for one another. Current leaflets are available in the vestibule.  Today give thanks for the generosity of those who give to the Presbyterian Church through the Planned Giving program.
 
FOOD BANK DONATIONS: The Salvation Army have informed us of a significant increase in demand. In particular donations of Hamburger/Tuna Helper, bags of sugar, hot cereals, hot chocolate, taco shells, syrup, vitamins, and pasta sauce. We thank you for your ongoing generosity to the less fortunate in our community.
 
The Church Library is open Tuesday to Friday
9 - 12 as well as Sunday morning. Come in and check out the new books available. 
 
Please wear your nametags, especially during Coffee Fellowship Hour for the convenience of our newcomers. For those who would like one, please contact the office. A donation of $6.50 would cover the cost.
 
If your photo is not on the photo board in the hallway or you would like it updated please see John Evans after worship.
